Front Door Studs

When the new front door was installed in June, we had ordered some black metal "studs" that are often used on doors of this style, presumably as a nod to their ancient form of construction. At the time, the studs were out of stock, so we have been without them. Now they are here, and we are trying to decide whether to fit them.
