Kitchen Destruction Now Well Underway

It's Friday, and we are away this weekend, so at lunchtime I decided it would be a good idea to hack off some of the the tiles in kitchen.  We need to decide whether we are going to keep the plaster and get it skimmed, or take it all off back to the stone.  The wall units at the cooker end of the kitchen have already been emptied and removed, so it was just a case of setting to work with a hammer and bolster chisel :

It is clear after this bit of work, that the plaster is in very bad condition.  Huge chunks of it fell off with the tiles.  It is clear to me that it all needs to come off and get redone.
