Kitchen Chimney Breast Removal

Removal of the kitchen chimney breast started today.  This is the start point :

 The studwork, and some board, is still in place in the alcoves to either side.  The tiles are hacked off to expose the soft black plaster that we have seen elsewhere in this house.

The cooker has been moved aside, and everything at gound level is covered with tarpaulin to guard against the inevitable dust cloud.

By end of day, the top section has been chopped into and props are in place to temporarily support the chimney breast that continues upstairs.  The brickwork is starting to be dismantled :
