More Paint Problems

You may have read before in this blog, that Jan and I have a history of not being able to choose our colours very easily. Usually we end up mixing the chosen colour with other colours, or white to make it more like what we thought it would be in the first place. This is all very well, until the time comes when you need to patch something up and realise you didn't save any of the mixed colour (or it has gone solid in the tin !).

Well, I am afraid to report that this problem continues. Jan has spent many hours with a roller this week, trying to paint the walls of the en-suite bathroom. They had already been done with two coats of white (one thinned with water) and then treated to various yellow "match pots".

Jan put on a coat of her favoured colour early in the week on the longest wall, but then decided she didn't like it. Back to the shop, she returned with another shade and painted the wall again. Unfortunately she still didn't like it so then spent another two (maybe three) coats, going back to white !

We are going to try and get the colour from the flooring, furnishings and tiles.......
