Next Dormer

I have decided, that whilst I am on a roll with boarding out dormer windows, I will complete the one at the other end of the landing. The nice easy large expanses of straightforward rectangular boards, with no compound angles, will be saved for later !

The remaining dormer is effectively above the front door adjacent to our galleried landing, so there is nothing to stand on. To ease access, and save working off of a ladder, I screwed a batten to the wall and laid and old pallet across from the landing. A piece of old board provides a flat surface to stand on :

This dormer is very similar to the other one, though the window is much larger, hence there is no clearance for the double thickness of insulation. This should make things a little easier.....
