Gas Pipe Moved

Today we had a short break in the plastering while the gas pipe was moved and a safety test done.  All passed, no leaks.

By end of day we had the first coat of sand & cement render :

This mix uses a rendering sand called "Bredon" which apparently is getting increasingly hard to get hold of.  My local building supplies had some, but it wasn't bagged up, so the plasterer had to bag it himself.  We could have had a ton bag delivered, but we didn't think we were going to need that much.  With the benefit of hindsight, it looks like it might have been the better option.
