Bonding The Bathroom Mirrors

Another measuring cock up has taken place.  With two pieces of mirror glass to install it looks like I have, on separate occasions, measured one of them twice instead of measuring each of them once.  By some coincidence the height of one is the same as the width of the other.  Unfortunately this meant that the frame I had carefully built in the bathroom was too tall.  I have had to prise off the top rail :

Here is the frame in the other bathroom with a zig-zag bead of glass adhesive ready for bonding on the mirror.

Once the mirror was in place I held it there with some sticky tape while the adhesive set.  For similarly unexplained reasons I failed to take any pictures of the final result, though they will follow in future postings.

The sticky tape I chose was a bad choice as the adhesive on it was incredibly difficult to get off of the glass.  In the end I used a rather pungent cocktail of meths and white spirit.
