Bath Installation

The plumbing team returned today and installed the bath, we chose a P shaped bath which has a wider section where the shower goes, and just fits snugly into the gap :
Actually, it didn't fit and around 1.5 cm was let into the wall on the right hand side :
The pipework is there for the shower, and the bath taps ready installed.  The bath is sealed to the wall with silicon, and will then be sealed again once the tiles have gone up.

The bath stands on feet, which are adjustable to get the height right, and the bath level.  The frame and plywood fascia was then constructed to fit.

Originally we had asked for an access door to be left to get at the tap and waste.  The estimator had said this was no problem, but on the day, the installer disagreed.  he was prepared to make one, but was convinced we would be disappointed with the result.  We have agreed not to have it.  if there are problems, we will just have to knock off the tiles and get it redone afterwards (yes, we have spares).  Alternatively, cut a hole in the ceiling of the cupboard below....
