Bathroom Plastering Finished

The plaster skim coat has been applied today and is now drying off.  The plasterer was a bit "precious" about all the cables I had hanging from the ceiling, so last night I bound them all tightly together and pushed them back through the hole, just leaving a single string behind in readiness to pull them back through when the plaster is dry.  He was happy with this.  He just wanted his job to be straightforward, and of course, that we should get a better result....

Interestingly, the wall and soffit behind and above the bath have been left as plain plasterboard.  The tiling is going to be done directly onto this :

Some kind of primer is going to be used, which isn't PVA.  maybe I'll find out what it is, or maybe it is a trade secret that will be kept from me.
