Sockets

I hinted in a post a few days ago that the new staircase position completely messes up a lot of our electrics. Of most immediate importance is a string of 3 double sockets that will end up deep under the stairs. Two of them will end up in the way of the wall string, but one of them will remain usable.

I have removed all three, and the interconnecting wiring and replaced the socket that we will keep with some temporary "chocolate box" connectors to maintain the ring main. Once the staircase is permanently in place, any visible holes from the removed sockets will be patch-plastered over, and the final one refitted.
