Shower Screen
This is something that I forgot about. A couple of weeks ago I picked up the replacement glass for the shower. It is a very long time ago, but we bought a shower enclosure from a Bristol shop (display model, so we had to dismantle it ourselves). However, because of the sloping soffits in the bathroom we knew that one of the panels would have to be replaced with a new one cut to fit the shape. Shower screens are made from toughened glass and the problem with this is that it can't be cut once it has been through the toughening process. A replacement piece is the only option.
I made a cardboard template of what I wanted and dropped it off at a glazier in Cirencester, along with the current piece of glass so that they could match the colour, transfer the hole locations (for shelves and door hinges) and move the aluminium framing from the old to the new.
It looks like they have done a good job, and it seems to fit the space. I just need to install it now....
