Scheduling of Floor Fitting

We have accepted the expensive quote to fit our oak floor. The plan is that it will be done during the week before our Easter holiday. That gives them time while we are away to apply the finishing oil. This will be an advantage because the area to be floored takes a lot of daily traffic, and the oiled floor will take around 8 hours to dry each of the required 3 coats. If there are people trying to live in the house it will be very awkward.
