Bookcase Progress Check

Originally our bookcase was due to be completed during the first week of July, but we were pretty sure this target would not be attained.

Tomorrow I set off on a 4 day bike ride to Sheffield to watch stage 2 of the Tour-de-France and I decided to treat myself to a new pair of shoelaces for my cycling shoes.  It was also an excuse to call in at the workshop and see progress for myself.  As you can see from the pictures, it definitely won't be finished any day soon.  This is the front frame for the top section :

Note the axe hanging on the wall - sign of a great furniture maker !
