Stonework Finished

A couple of other things to report from today. The last of the stone mullions has now been installed, in the rear dormer window :

This means that we can finally get the window people round to measure up for stage 2 of the windows. Also, you can see in the picture that the last of the stonework is now completed (apart from pointing). This is a big milestone as the stonework has been the most time-consuming part of this job.

Also today, I ordered the staircase (the straight one to upstairs, not the spiral). Having taken my order over the phone, they are going to post me a detailed order form, and a drawing for signature and confirmation of sizes. They are then going to build the staircase (apart from the winder steps and balustrade) in the factory and deliver it to us on the back of a lorry.
