Fireplace Concern

We are slightly concerned that the right hand "leg" of the upstairs fireplace is a different colour from the rest of it. The fitter said it was just wet and would dry out, but 2 days later it does not seem to have changed :

Jan phoned the stonemason and he assured her it would just take time. She has emailed some pictures to him for reference.

Let us see what happens over the next week or so.
