Decision Week
The central heating is being done during the week beginning 12th May (two weeks today), so we need to finalise our radiator positions etc before this Friday when he is coming out for the final survey of the job. We also have to choose a boiler. This is not as easy as it sounds - we want a combi which is compatible with solar panels for heating water. This means it has to be capable of taking a warm water feed so the boiler can "top up" solar heated water. Most don't do this. Those that do look to be under size for our needs. We are not going for the solar panels yet, but want to make sure the rest of the system is compatible should we go down that route in the future.
We also have a bank holiday weekend coming up which is the ideal opportunity to finish the decorating. However, this means colour options for the walls and woodwork. We have chosen a carpet, so are one step nearer. My Mum is getting very frustrated at our lack of decisiveness ! She wants the paint bought by Saturday so she can help to apply it !
Coming back to the Central Heating - choosing radiator positions also mean finalising the bathroom layout. Too many decisions. Arghhhhh. Where can I bury my head ?
